The death of Harold Hunter, one of the two men who died in the house fire that took place earlier this month in Corona, California, has been ruled as murder. On Friday, November 16th, 2018, around 2 p.m., an investigation team was dispatched to a residence in the 4500 block of East Mount Vernon Avenue in Corona.

Upon their arrival they found what appeared to be smoke coming from the roof of the home along with heavy flames emanating from within. When firefighters entered the home, they discovered both Harold Hunter and Robert William Cole dead inside.

Investigators determined that there had been a large amount of smoking in the home before the fire started somewhere close by. It is believed that either Hunter or Cole lit a piece of material which then burned down and touched off the nearby source of fuel.

The investigation into Hunter’s and Cole’s deaths is now being conducted by investigators with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Both agencies are actively involved in determining the cause and manner of death for each man at this time.

It is our job here at Crime Stopping Unit One to identify potential suspects, witnesses, and perpetrators through the process known as investigative profiling. This involves looking at the evidence, analyzing statements, and predicting how individuals may react to determine who might have done it.

If you feel them working more slowly, then you should do some test stops to see if they are functioning properly. Doing this will prevent any accidents and potential disasters due to bad brake pads or corrosion causing malfunction.

On Wednesday, September 4th, around 9 AM, Harold Hunter died in what is being called a tragic accident. He was found dead inside his car near an airport in O’Fallon, Missouri. According to authorities, he had left work early that day and drove himself to the airport where he boarded a flight back home to Chicago.

While at the airport, he made a stop at a gas station across the street from where his car was parked. It is thought that while he was still there, someone noticed smoke coming out of his vehicle so they called 911. Dies in a house fire

On Friday, May 5th, 2018, at approximately 9:30 AM, Montgomery County Fire Rescue was dispatched to a report of an apartment fire with evidence of smoke inhalation. When they arrived, firefighters found heavy smoke coming from an upstairs bedroom window of a two-story home. They also discovered what appeared to be human remains outside the window.

Firefighters entered the room and searched for survivors, but there were none. Due to the intensity of the flames and thickening smoke, MCFR called in additional resources to search and rescue more bodies.

Upon entry into the second floor residence, investigators noticed several items that indicated possible suicide by self-hanging. There was no note left behind. Investigators believe this occurred around midnight or earlier when the victim closed the window he lived out of and then died of suffocation.

The police investigation determined that the deceased is a white male in his mid-20’s with blonde hair. He is known to reside in the area and has past interactions with law enforcement.

This case will remain under active investigation until all investigative steps have been completed. An autopsy will determine how he died and whether it was related to the fire.

Hopefully you never need to deal with a death like this, but knowing what to do can help make a difference if you are confronted with one. If you know someone who may be struggling, try and stay connected and talk about anything but death and disease.
